Can i get some fashion advice?

im in 6th grade and i admit im not the best person with style. im a tomboy/girly girl got any ideas?Can i get some fashion advice?
the best advice I can give to you is go to teen stores such as Wet Seal %26amp; Rue 21 and look at the store mannequins... Get ideas from outfits that you LIKE that are already put together and make it your own. Ive been doing that for years and always get complimented on being a 'fashionista' ;) It's a trial and error process. Youre young! Have fun!!! Good luck!

Try and aviod abercrombie %26amp; fitch and AE. Get things in darker colours if at all from Aeropostale and Hollister, but nothing that says Hollister, only if it just has the seagull. I don't know where you live but there is a store called boathouse row you might like. It is at least in Ontario. They have some skate brands and stuff. There's also West 49, if you're into skating.


BTW saying you're a tomboy AND a girly girl contradict each other. Believe me you want to go for the tomboy look, because preps are losers.
look in teen magazines and see what styles you like and try to copy them.


Right now Skinny jeans and ruffle tops are in, but that might be a little much for 6th grade. Try abercrombie, aeropostale, American eagle, hollister, or any other store that has cute stuff that appeals to you.


Also ugg boots are also a huge trend to tuck in your skinny jeans
Well, never wear anything hoochy especially in 6th grade. Go with something classic. Dresses are awesome and not everyones brave enough to wear one so try that. It will show that you have a lot of confidence. Getting out of your comfort zone will help you grow.
You can spice up your look by mixing your two styles. Add a cute jean studded skirt with leggings, bright colored flat, layered tank tops, a cute cardigan and a scarf. Then on other days, wear a layered top with jeans, gladiator snadls, bright headband with sparkles then add some tomboy with soccer ball or any type of sport earing, necklaces or braclets. So cute!

At your age, you shouldn't be worrying about fashion too much. Jeans and a t-shirt are fine.
Just be yourself! Your in 6th grade and in 6th grade Fashion is nothing! Wait till you get to high school! Fashion is everything there! Just be yourself and you will look fine.
