Any advice on getting rid of yard sale stuff?

I've cleaned out my grandparents' house and am left with a garage full of stuff that is yard sale worthy, but I want to move back home next month and don't want to deal with it. I don't want to pay someone to get rid of it, because it's not trash. A couple that buys stuff and sells it came over and barely looked at everything before deciding they didn't want it. Any ideas? I live in Dutchess County, New York.Any advice on getting rid of yard sale stuff?
Donate it to a thrift shop like Salvation Army. Anytime you do this it is a tax write off.Any advice on getting rid of yard sale stuff?
At the end of a sale I have always had scoundrels come by and take anything they can that is for free. Near the end of the sale put out a big sign that says free stuff.

If you have the time call Salvation Army, Big Brother or any other charity in your area. Many of them make pick ups and would love your stuff!!! .

Donate, it really makes you feel good
suck it up and have the yardsale or post an ad on craigslist for a ';lot'; of stuff for one low price. Don't ask too much for it because it is probably not worth as much as you would like to think.
Do you have any consignment shops in your area? Or you can donate it to either Goodwill or Salvation Army and deduct it off your taxes (if you file with deductions).
take it to the salvation army store or to a good will store
have a garage sell
try one of those second hand stores or a church and donate it
