I get really self-conscious when changing in gym class I'm overweight any tips or advice?

I have stretchmarks!!I get really self-conscious when changing in gym class I'm overweight any tips or advice?
You're probably not the only one in class, judging from what I've seen of students today; a lot seem to be overweight.

Loose the weight: water instead of soda or fruit drinks. Stay TOTALLY away from fast food. You have to eat the number of calories a day that you want to weigh; there are sites on the web to look that up.

And there's stuff out there to 'minimize' stretch marks. Pregnant women use it all the time, and it does help.I get really self-conscious when changing in gym class I'm overweight any tips or advice?
were an undershirt or change in a stall, guys don't really care.
so i know i should tell you to not be self conscious and love your self! but if u do want to lose the pounds, set a goal for yourself..like 10 lbs. a month, and then eat healthy and exercise; run, lift weights, do crunches.
You can either change in a stall, or get there early enough that no one will see you change. that's what I did. But eventually I just gave up caring and just changed, and I'm still overweight.
Just change in a stall. But if you wanna lose weight, do cardio. Hit the treadmill or something. Do something that gets you moving around and sweating. It could be anything. Basketball, baseball, hiking, almost anything.
if guys say something....then just ask them why they were checking u out..and i dont really think people would care...ur not the only one
Do you have stalls in your locker room or

where ever you get changed?

If so, change there.

If not, take your clothes to the nearest

bathroom and change there.

Or try to get their early and change

when no one is in there.

Sorry.

Good luck :D
me too..but i don't have gym til next year..it gives me some time to lose weight..i know there is some cream that they sell cocoa butter idk...your mom should know what it is..anyways when you lose weight the stretch marks ten to like coil up and they are less noticeable...good luck...email anytime..hide somewhere to change..lol

ANOTHER THING

If you wear an undershirt you will be hotter and sweatier all day..so ur kinda stuck..
try to be late to gym but not to late that you dont have enough time to change if you do that there should only be a few people getting dressed at the time. and one other thing your a guy and most guys dont care about what other guys look like all they think about is women.
Just try not to worry about it, it's nobody's place to judge you based on your appearance
The best solution would be to just not care about it. Changing in a stall in my experience just makes guys laugh and or make fun of you. The second best solution would be to just wear an undershirt and just wear your gym shorts underneath your pants.
To address the overweight/stretchmark issue, use some Bio-Oil or olive oil on the areas, it might help make your skin more elastic and reduce the appearance. And obviously exercise like other have pointed out.

To address the getting changed in gym class, you can go there before/after others are there, or go to the darkest corner, do it in the toilets/showers or wear a singlet underneath.

And I think you'll find that in change rooms, most guys will just worry about getting changed asap without staring at others. Also other people will be just as self-conscious as you are, they're just hiding it better. And finally... people generally don't worry about it if you don't. They probably haven't even noticed your stretchmarks unless they look real close.
it's okay to feel that way but didn't it ever occur to you that some of your peers feel the same and just won't admit it?

nobody's perfect so let it all hang.

if it really bothers you. try exercising more often.
love yourself for you!

those people dont have to be you everyday, you DO!

if you cant love yourself, who can?
i have stretch marks 2 and im getting mad about it,but i stay with the same gym and stay confident if u get discouraged talk 2 family for help thats wht i do
Don't go to the gymclass. Easy-peasey. Either that or just get over it and if anybody says anything just tell them to gtf!!!
