Any advice about getting rid of blood blisters?

I go bowling for an hour or two almost every single day until Summer. It's become a yearly routine to get blood blisters on my thumb from bowling, that hurt like crazy, every single year. What should I do about getting rid of them?Any advice about getting rid of blood blisters?
You COULD pop and drain them, then treat them with medicine to prevent infection. You aren't supposed to do that, though. You just have to wait until your body reabsorbs them I guessAny advice about getting rid of blood blisters?
not much you can do once you have them, but there are things you can do to prevent them, like wear a bowling glove, or brace or try a ball with more room in the holes.
I've always sterilized a sharp sewing needle by holding it over

a flame for a few seconds, wiping the soot off with a sterile

pad and just popping it, followed by applying peroxide (it hurts)

and following up with a big dose of Neosporin and a big thick

bandaid. Change it every day using this method over and

over until it heals. The sore is vulnerable to infection, so

make sure to keep it very clean and protected. Use a couple

of layers of bandaids if you want to bowl and be gentle with

it as it could get aggrevated by rubbing and pressure.
